Dr. Rohit Sachdeva received his dental degree from the University of Nairobi Kenya in 1978. He earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters in Dental Science at the University of Connecticut in 1983. He is the cofounder and Chief Clinical Officer at OraMetrix, Inc., the first company to provide all-digital solutions for the design and fabrication of fixed appliances. He has made over 200 clinical and scientific presentations worldwide and has over 150 publications to his credit. He holds over 80 patents. He is the developer of Copper NiTi and Titanium Niobium archwires and Titanium brackets. He is the recipient of the Japanese society of promotion of science award and is a diplomate of the American board of orthodontics. He is a Clinical professor at the University of Connecticut and the Hokkaido Health Sciences Center Japan. In the past he held faculty positions at the University of Connecticut, Manitoba and the Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M. He is also on the editorial board of the Journal of Orthodontic Practice.
